Task App closes the gap. An invite-only marketplace that builds AI agents for your business and pairs you with the top 1% of vetted experts, run entirely from a Slack message. We built the brand, the product and the site from a blank page.
Overview
The partnership
Co-created with Justin Evergreen as joint Creative Directors. I led the art direction and the identity system top to bottom, and together we ran product UX, paid ads and the full site build. A ground-up launch made to feel friendly instead of intimidating.
Define
The category was selling fear. Every AI brand leaned on cold gradients and robot dread. Task App had the opposite truth to tell: this is the easy part, and you already know how to do it. If you can send a message, you can hire an agent.

We built a whole world instead of a logo. A pixel-art universe of isometric islands, floating agents and cheerful mascots, each one a tiny scene of work getting done. Bright candy gradients, an acid-yellow signal color, and a wordmark that reads more toy than tool. The system stretches across product, site and social without ever losing the warmth.

Commit
The world had to keep growing. Every new agent, integration and use case needed a scene of its own, so we built the pixel system as a kit, not a set of one-offs. New islands drop straight into the site, the deck and the app without a redraw.

Task App launched with a brand that felt nothing like the rest of the category, and everything like the product it was selling. Warm, quick and impossible to be scared of. Businesses hire agents in seconds, experts get matched to real work, and the whole exchange never leaves a Slack message.
